How to add a widget

WordPressEdit the page, add a Custom HTML block, and paste the code. Some WordPress.com plans remove scripts; on those, use a plan that allows embeds.
SquarespaceAdd a Code block (Business plan or higher) and paste the code. Leave “Display source” off.
WixAdd Embed code → Embed HTML, choose “Code”, paste it, then drag the box to the widget’s size.
Showcase IDX and kvCOREShowcase IDX runs on WordPress, so use a Custom HTML block as above. On kvCORE, add a custom page and paste the code into its HTML or source view. If an editor strips scripts, the Market Pulse also comes as an image you can use anywhere.

Branding for Pro agents

Pro and Team members can add data-agent="yoursubdomain" to any widget. It shows your name, brokerage and phone, and links to your own BindingOffers site. On the home value form, requests go straight to your account email without the one-time confirmation. Free versions are unbranded but work the same.

Questions

Will a widget slow my site down?

Each widget loads in its own frame, only when a visitor scrolls near it, and loads no third-party scripts, trackers or cookies. Your page finishes loading first.

Can I change the colors?

Each widget comes in a light and a dark theme (data-theme="dark"). Custom colors aren’t available yet.

Do the widgets update on their own?

Yes. Market data refreshes monthly and mortgage rates weekly, with nothing to change on your site.

Is the data licensed?

Market figures come from Redfin’s public Data Center, which allows use with credit, so every market widget shows “Data: Redfin”. Mortgage rates are Freddie Mac’s weekly survey, published through the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis; areas and ZIP codes come from the Census Bureau and HUD. Rules by state are our own research, with sources on each page.

Are the widgets really free?

Yes, all of them, with no account. Pro and Team members can add their own name and phone, and send home value requests straight to their inbox.
