How this works
Pick a state, city or ZIP code, choose a size, and paste one line of code into your website. The widget shows how hot that market is right now (a heat score from 0 to 100), how often homes sold above list, days on market, median price and price per square foot, each against a year earlier. It updates itself every month.
WordPress: edit the page, add a Custom HTML block, and paste the code. If your plan strips scripts (some WordPress.com plans do), use a plan that allows embeds or ask your web person to add it.
Squarespace: add a Code block (Business plan or higher) and paste the code. Leave “Display source” off.
Wix: add Embed code → Embed HTML, choose “Code”, paste, then resize the box to the widget’s size.
Questions
Is the market pulse widget free?
Yes. Anyone can embed it. Pro and Team members can add their own name, phone and a link to their site.
How often does it update?
Monthly, when Redfin publishes new data. You never need to change the code on your site.
How is the heat score calculated?
It ranks the area against every other area of the same kind on the share of homes sold above list, sale-to-list ratio, days on market, months of supply and price drops. The methodology is on each market pulse page.
